Hi. I’m Mel, a writer and editor who lives in Denver, Colorado. I have a master of science in technical writing and I’ve spent my career in various industries writing and editing complex documents. One of my main skills is explaining technical information to different audiences.
In fiction, I write mostly grounded speculative stories. This means my stories feature anything from ghosts to witches and vampires, but humanity and connection is always at the heart.
I also occasionally write creative non-fiction (personal essays) about my experience living with chronic pain.
